Wonder Woman Prepares For War In New International TV Spot

Although a third and final full theatrical trailer for Wonder Woman will no doubt drop at some point between now and the film’s release, we’ll take whatever we can get when it comes to the iconic Amazon Princess. And seeing as how there was no Super Bowl advertisement last night, this newly released international TV spot is most welcome.

Upon viewing the footage given, one could say this promo is highly comparable to the second theatrical trailer, but it’s framed in a rather intense manner and doesn’t highlight the humor we know to be there. Still, you won’t hear any complaints from me, as director Patty Jenkins offers up quite the visual feast.

Truth be told, the more we see of this movie and its emphasis on war, the notion that Ares will be the main villain makes more sense when you think about. Add to that the fact that he was recently revealed to be part of the action figure line – albeit as a build-a-figure – and his involvement becomes evermore difficult to deny.

But should Ares be revealed in the next full trailer, we doubt many potential moviegoers will feel too spoiled. As long as whomever cuts it doesn’t let every possible cat out of the bag as was the case with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, I think we’ll still be in good shape.

Until Gal Gadot’s first solo outing as Wonder Woman arrives in theaters on June 2nd, we’ll continue to keep you posted concerning all major developments, including that much anticipated final trailer.
