Zombieland: Double Tap

Zombieland: Double Tap International Trailer Offers Some New Footage

A short international trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap offers up some new footage ahead of the sequel's release this fall.

Honestly, it’s nothing short of a miracle that all four members of the original cast – Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin – were able to return for Zombieland: Double Tap. Since the original film hit theaters 10 years ago, each of their careers have really taken off, both critically and financially. And as that riot-of-a-trailer that we got a few weeks back made clear, all of them have been up for at least one Academy Award.

Now, after giving us our first taste of the action and the laughs we’ll be getting come October, Sony has dropped another new preview for the sequel, and it even has a few snippets of fresh footage. Though mostly the same as the initial promo, this latest look at the film comes in the form of an international trailer and can be seen up above.

Again, there’s not a whole lot here that we haven’t witnessed already, but there are a few new shots scattered throughout and on the whole, it makes for another enticing preview that has us even more excited to lay eyes on the sequel when it hits theaters in October.

It’s not only the fans who are excited, though, as the cast themselves are pretty stoked about what they’ve put together as well. In fact, according to Harrelson, his time working on the sequel was a blast, as he recently said the following about it in an interview a while back:

“What we’ve shot so far, I’m really impressed with. Getting to hang out with these guys — Emma, and Abbie, and Jesse, and Ruben — I feel so lucky, really, really lucky. You know, it’s literally laughing all day long, and that’s your job. Like, my job is, I laugh all day long? It seems unbelievable. So, I feel really lucky right now.”

Zombieland: Double Tap arrives in theaters on October 11th, and if these trailers are any indication of what we’ll be seeing when it finally touches down, well, then we’re in for a real treat, one that will surely please longtime fans.
