Following up on “Dreams” from earlier in the summer, Adventure Club are back to offer up another taste of their forthcoming debut studio album Red // Blue. For their latest single, the Canadian production duo have enlisted singer Sara Diamond for a melodic dance tune titled “Firestorm.”
“Firestorm” starts off quietly, led by Sara Diamond’s vocal delivery layered over filtered percussion and echoed string melodies. Following up on the stripped down verses, Adventure Club take it to the drops with series of steady hitting bass notes set against half time rhythms and some wordless crooning.
Adventure Club deliver a solid tune with their latest effort, offering up a unique production with a strong melodic backbone and plenty of pop appeal thanks to some catchy vocals from Sara Diamond. The drops are simple but refined, and the duo gain points for trying something new with “Firestorm.”
