Foo Fighters Release Music Video For Rope

The Foo Fighters have released the music video for their newest single, Rope. The song is off their upcoming seventh studio album called 'Wasting Light', which is set to drop April 12th. I love the song and I love the Foo Fighters but I'm not a fan of the video. It's pretty boring as it simply just shows the band rocking out in a white cube like structure. A couple interesting lighting effects are thrown in but it's nothing special.

The Foo Fighters have released the music video for their newest single, Rope. The song is off their upcoming seventh studio album called ‘Wasting Light’, which is set to drop April 12th. I love the song and I love the Foo Fighters but I’m not a fan of the video. It’s pretty boring as it simply just shows the band rocking out in a white cube like structure. A couple interesting lighting effects are thrown in but it’s nothing special. Speaking about the video, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl said:

“We shot the video … in a big soundstage in Los Angeles. And we had to build this cube out of fabric and wood for the band to play within, and it’s lit from outside. … At first it just seems like we’re in this glowing white room from within, and then towards the end, the big reveal is we’re in this room, which is within a massive room.”

Embedding has been disabled on the video so you’ll have to head over to YouTube to watch it.
