Kygo Premieres His Next Single At Coachella

It seems like Kygo is just full of new music these days, and why wouldn't he be? As one of EDM's fastest rising stars, all eyes are on the Norwegian producer to see what he'll do next. And if his recent live performances are any indication of what's to come, we're going to be seeing a lot of original releases from him over the next few months.

It seems like Kygo is just full of new music these days, and why wouldn’t he be? As one of EDM’s fastest rising stars, all eyes are on the Norwegian producer to see what he’ll do next. And if his recent live performances are any indication of what’s to come, we’re going to be seeing a lot of original releases from him over the next few months.

After showing off one of his new tracks at Ultra in March, and giving some lucky fans at Coachella a copy of his Dillon Francis collaboration, “Coming Over,” the 23-year old has now dropped another new song. Yet again choosing his Coachella debut to premiere new music (although this time it was weekend 2, not weekend 1), Kygo played out his next single, “Fiction,” which features Tom Odell on vocals.

Of course, not being an official version, the audio here is pretty terrible. It comes from a fan recorded video and not a very good one, either. Still, we’re able to get some idea of what Kygo has in store for us and from what we can tell, it looks like he’s sticking mostly to his signature sound for another tropical house effort, which is totally fine by us.

Check out the video above and be sure to stay tuned to We Got This Covered as we’ll have an official version of the song once it’s available.
