Taylor Swift’s Mother’s Day Eras tour show brings out all of the celebs

Taylor Swift's 'The Eras Tour' has attracted yet another batch of starry attendees

Taylor Swift completed another stop as part of her ongoing ‘The Eras Tour’ on Mother’s Day, and there were more than a few celebrities spotted in the audience. Swift performed at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on May 14, capping off her three-date tour of the state with support acts Gracie Abrams and Phoebe Bridgers. Fans were quick to spot some famous faces in the crowd, with both Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Kidman appearing among the 71,000-capacity venue.

For her part, Lawrence was seen wearing sunglasses and smiling amongst the audience, while Kidman was accompanied by her husband and country music singer, Keith Urban. Swift has previously collaborated with Urban for the 2008 Fearless duet, That’s When, while Kidman praised Swift’s album folklore in 2020. “Love this album,” the actress gushed on Instagram

Lawrence, meanwhile, has been a longtime friend of Swift’s, telling E! in 2019 that she “sent [Swift] a text message that was like six inches long.” Lawrence and Kidman aren’t the only stars who have attended Swift’s tour since it launched in March. Across the tour’s three-month run so far, crowds have elsewhere housed the likes of Blake Lively, Lena Dunham, Reese Witherspoon and Heartstopper’s Joe Locke, among many others

Dating rumours erupted when Matty Healy of the band The 1975 was likewise spotted at a Swift show, though the pair’s relationship has yet to be officially confirmed. Lawrence and Kidman were among the lucky Philadelphia concert-goers to enjoy a few surprise songs, with Swift reportedly performing the tracks Hey Stephen and The Best Day, on top of the fellow surprise setlist additions she performed at past shows.

‘The Eras Tour’ was the subject of multiple headlines earlier this year due to the Ticketmaster fiasco that erupted following the tour’s announcement. “It’s really difficult for me to trust an outside entity with these relationships and loyalties,” Swift said of the debacle, “and excruciating for me to just watch mistakes happen with no recourse.”
