Avengers: No Surrender Month 3 Covers Feature An Armored Red Hulk

Even though we were promised no major crossover miniseries for at least 18 months after the conclusion of Secret Empire, that doesn’t mean there won’t be other storylines that’ll shake the Marvel Universe to its core. In fact, the House of Ideas fully intends on starting 2018 with a bang, thanks in no small part to Avengers: No Surrender.

Now, if this seems confusing to you at all, know that the difference between No Surrender and something like, say, Civil War II or Secret Wars is that this particular arc won’t be told throughout the course of a limited series. Instead, it’ll be told in the pages of Avengers, and will also include the Uncanny Avengers and U.S.Avengers.

From that, you were probably able to deduce that those three unique teams – along with Voyager, “the greatest Avenger you’ve never heard of” – will be joining forces for what may very well be a happening as significant as Avengers Disassembled. Not only that, but the story will unfold over a weekly basis.

So, now that we’ve had time to digest all the facts, let’s take a look at the gallery above, shall we?

In it, we’re treated to another round of insanely handsome covers drawn by Mark Brooks, who’s churned out nothing but gold for Marvel in recent memory. This time, though, not only do we see and extremely pissed off Bruce Banner, but Red Hulk is decked out in what appears to be Iron Patriot armor. One may wonder why a Hulk needs armor, but you have to admit it looks pretty sweet nevertheless.

Additionally, Nick Bradshaw’s interlocking variant covers can be glimpsed at the end of the slideshow. Also of note is this synopsis telling us what to expect from month 3 of No Surrender:

Month three of AVENGERS: NO SURRENDER takes its epic storytelling to another level, as Jarvis’ life hangs by a thread and the Black Order is on the attack. And as if the Avengers don’t have enough to worry about, they’ll need to deal with a betrayal of one of their own.

It all kicks off in January of 2018 with the release of Avengers #675, and as soon as we learn more, we’ll be sure to let you know.
