Are you ready to shut up and hand over your money? 2k Games and Gearbox Software have announced two new collectors editions for Borderlands 2. The Borderlands® 2 – the Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition and Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition will have all sorts of goodies to gain your attention and get you excited for the upcoming sequel.

The Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition is the light version of the two choices. Here you’ll receive an authentic Marcus Kincaid bobble-head,  Inside the Vault: The Art & Design of Borderlands 2 hardbound book; collectable sticker set; map of Pandora; digital comic download code; and bonus downloadable in-game digital content (details are TBD for DLC). The Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition includes all of those items, plus a collectable scaled replica of the red loot chests found throughout Pandora in Borderlands 2; steelbook case; Creatures of Pandora wide-format ID chart; lithograph postcard set; field notes from Sir Hammerlock; cloth map of Pandora; and a numbered certificate of authenticity.

Now what will these collector’s editions cost you? The Deluxe Edition will run you $99.99 while the Ultimate Edition will cost you $149.99. Both collectors editions will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC when the game launches in September. Finally, if you pre order the game you’ll gain access to the Borderlands Premiere Club which will allow you to download the Gearbox Gun Pack, a Golden Key, the Vault Hunter’s Relic and an all-new fifth character class – the Mechromancer.

That is quite a lot of goodies! Looks like it’s high time to go back and play through the original Borderlands game and hide away till September rolls around.
