Stylistically, “Magic Trick” is a blend of the trap and dubstep influences that have defined Borgore’s sound. The song kicks off with blaring 808 beats and an ominous bell motif, driven by some intensely rapped verses courtesy of Juicy J. Moving into the drops, squelchy bass rhythms dominate over half time drum patterns and energetic synth riffs. After going through another verse and drop, “Magic Trick” concludes with a menacing melody paired with distorted sub bass.

Between its hard hitting hip hop verses and some pummelling sound design in the drops, “Magic Trick” embodies everything that fans have come to love about Borgore. Juicy J’s vocal contributions fit the song’s vibe well, while the overdriven dubstep sections are sure to satisfy bass heads.
