Over the last few months, we’ve heard a number of high profile collaborations come out of Cashmere Cat‘s studio. The Norwegian producer has been hard at work on his debut studio album Wild Love, and already we’ve heard the title track with The Weeknd, as well as his Selena Gomez pair up on “Trust Nobody.” Now he’s back with a new offering with 2 Chainz, Tory Lanez and Starrah titled “Throw Myself A Party.”

The track arrives as a hip hop influenced dance tune, led by varied vocal deliveries from the song’s numerous collaborators that range from rapped verses to sung choruses. Cashmere Cat starts the song off with a delicate synthesizer melody before introducing booming 808 beats and a flowing string section, bringing an upbeat vibe to the table that matches the lyrical content.

With an excellent production courtesy of Cashmere Cat, coupled with a slew of topline hooks from the various featured vocalists, “Throw Myself A Party” arrives as another strong offering from the Norwegian musician. We’re still waiting on an official release date for Wild Love, but the previews of the album we’ve heard so far definitely have us excited. As always, we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
