The rising talent released a mashup of Electric Light Orchestra's '70s classic, "Evil Woman," and his own production, "In The Dark" that's sure to resonate well with his fan base.

The rising talent released a mashup of Electric Light Orchestra’s ’70s classic, “Evil Woman,” and his own production, “In The Dark” that’s sure to resonate well with his fanbase.

While the mashup leans a little more heavily on the piano melody and iconic vocals of “Evil Woman” than the subtle atmospheric elements of “In The Dark,” it still makes for a novel implementation of Claptone’s stripped-down style. As 2015 draws to a close, it’s no stretch to assert that this mashup will find its way into plenty of nightclubs in the first months of the new year.
