Ever since Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks teamed up to reveal Dishonored, the two companies have been touting the game’s creative kill options. However, its official trailers hadn’t offered much in the way of related footage. That is, until now.

This morning saw the debut of the Dishonored Creative Kills trailer, which acts as a murderous tutorial. Detailed within are ways that players can combine multiple forms of magic to get a desired result. Examples include slowing down time in order to explode possessed rats with spikes inside of them, tossing grenades and creating friendly fire scenarios through possession-based means.

Dishonored will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 9, 2012.
