After some missteps from Chris Pratt in the press, seeing him and Timothée Chalamet having a good time at a basketball game was a welcome sight. It hasn’t been all bad for Pratt lately, who has been in the spotlight recently due to the success of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which beat out The Super Mario Bros. Movie (in which he also stars) at the box office.
But Pratt wouldn’t be the most polarizing of the Chrises if nothing he said during his press rounds elicited a universal “he’s at it again” shrug from social media. In reaction to recent criticism, the action star and Arnold Scharzneger’s son-in-law defended his Christian beliefs by quoting Scripture and likening himself to Jesus Christ. Speaking to Page Six, Pratt said: “That’s the way it is, nothing new, 2,000 years ago they hated him [Jesus], too.”
So, it’s great to see Chris relaxing with some earthly pleasures, going to a Lakers game, greeting the players, including LeBron James, and hanging out with fellow actor Timothée Chalamet.
Pratt tweeted about the courtside seats experience, which includes an exclusive VIP buffet bar and restaurant with complimentary drinks, and the two stars appeared to be having a good time. He also dubbed Timothée Chalamet “America’s tastiest snack.”
When you get courtside @Lakers seats, (not to brag) they offer an exclusive, VIP buffet bar and restaurant with free drinks, delicious Tomahawk chops, cupcakes, and even America’s tastiest snack, the Timothée Chalamet. You know what? I get it. pic.twitter.com/V6cAPQj18H

Who can say? “America’s tastiest snack” may become the new moniker for Chalamet, otherwise known for receiving critical acclaim for his performances in films such as Call Me By Your Name and Dune. The two stars smiled in a photo with Pratt carrying a cupcake and another showing him alone feasting on delectable Tomahawk chops.
