Create Or Destroy With New Ridge Racer: Unbounded Trailer

Even though it won’t be due out until next year, Namco Bandai Games has released a new trailer for their upcoming racing title, which is going to be a part of the Ridge Racer franchise, Ridge Racer: Unbounded. It is the next game in the longstanding series of arcade style racing games which previously focused more on getting sideways and high speeds than it did destruction and chaos. This time around however, developer Bugbear Entertainment is bringing a new mantra to Ridge Racer: “Drive, Destroy, Dominate”.

Ridge Racer: Unbounded is the next game in the longstanding series of arcade style racing games which previously focused more on getting sideways and high speeds than it did destruction and chaos. This time around however, developer Bugbear Entertainment is bringing a new mantra to the series: “Drive, Destroy, Dominate”.

Gamers can get an idea of what this means by checking out the trailer, which gives a glimpse of one of the new features, city creator, which will let players create and customize their own unique “path of destruction.” After completing their creative masterpieces, they will also be able to share them online so that other gamers can join in on the fun.

While I may not get into every racing title out there, I’ve always enjoyed the Ridge Racer franchise. Though, for quite some time, the series has felt like it just hasn’t been evolving. Unbounded looks to change that in hopefully a positive way and it will be interesting to see just how the game turns out as more information is released.
