“Gold” opens with a gentle piano motif propelled by deep synth atmospheres and slow riding beats. The first verse features a smooth pop vocal delivery, contrasted by a second rap verse courtesy of Waka Flocka. While “Gold” features a largely chilled out production, the rap elements seem to clash a bit with the overall sound. The drops, meanwhile, deliver classic future bass vibes, with stuttering synth chords and punchy trap beats.

Although Dash Berlin‘s latest single has plenty to boast about, it’s hard to imagine that the presence of five overall collaborators was really necessary for the final product. Regardless, “Gold” is available now via Armada Music and can be purchased here if you’re interested in picking it up.
