Disney World is rapidly becoming the deadliest place on earth as another death occurs

It’s truly unbelievable, but TMZ has confirmed that yet another death occurred on Walt Disney World property. That death makes this the third fatality at the resort in just over ten days. If you’ve been following the news this week, you’ll know that the place they call “The Most Magical Place on Earth” has been anything but, with a string of horrific and tragic incidents that just seem to keep coming.

The latest confirmed death happened on Thursday, October 23, and it was right back at the Contemporary Resort. We’ve seen a viral TikTok video showing a seriously heavy police presence near a taped-off pool area at the Bay Lake Tower. The user who posted the video said they were told it was a “medical emergency.” It’s a gut-wrenching scene, and you can only imagine what it must be like to be staying there and wake up to a large law enforcement presence outside your balcony.

The Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office in Orlando has confirmed the death, and they’ve been quoted as saying, “We are still in the process of completing our exams” on the deceased. That tells you everything is still very much in flux, and the official cause of death hasn’t been released. This is probably the most deaths in 10 days since the first resort opened.

People keep dying at Walt’s resort, and it’s kind of scary

First up, on Tuesday, October 21, just two days before the most recent tragedy, a man in his 60s was found dead at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Authorities have reported that this was a man who experienced a medical episode, and there’s thankfully no suspicion of foul play in that instance. It’s a tragedy, to be fair, but it’s the third incident that makes it all the more concerning for anyone visiting the resort.

Then we go back to the first death that kicked off this awful trend: a reported suicide at the Contemporary Resort on October 14. This was a 31-year-old woman who, according to authorities, died from multiple blunt impact injuries. The official word from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office was quick to dispel one very nasty rumor that was swirling around on social media—that she had been struck by the monorail.

The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that she was NOT struck by the monorail at one of the resorts, calling that information “erroneous.” But regardless of the specifics, it’s an unbelievably heartbreaking situation, and to have all three of these tragedies stack up in such a short window of time is a serious wake-up call.

This is awful for all the families involved, and it casts a real shadow over the entire property. When you consider that this is all happening in Florida, and there was also a tragedy across the country at Disneyland in California, where a woman in her 60s was found unresponsive on the Haunted Mansion ride on October 8 and later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Right now, everyone is looking for answers, but Disney hasn’t said a word. I can’t imagine the internal conversations happening there, but the silence is definitely adding to the public unease. For anyone planning a trip, or even if you’re just reading the news, it’s hard not to feel the weight of these back-to-back stories.
