Camila Cabello isn’t the only member of Fifth Harmony who’s flexing out her solo chops: it looks like Lauren Jauregui is about to join the party, too, judging by some recent posts on social media.

According to Instagram, Jauregui is in the studio making some noise with producers such as The Rascals, Ljay Currie, and Tim Suby. Fun fact of the day with The Rascals is that one part of the production duo consists of Leon Thomas III, who was previously best known for starring role on the hit Nickelodeon show, Victorious. The reason why this is relevant is because, besides the fact that he’s a great producer, he worked with fellow Victorious co-star Ariana Grande on her debut record, Yours Truly. If Jauregui’s sound is supposed to have any resemblance whatsoever of Grande’s era from way back when, then we’re going to be in for a treat.

Just like Cabello, Lauren Jauregui has one of the strongest voices in Fifth Harmony, so she’s born to rock a vocal booth all by herself. This shouldn’t put any fear into the fans of the superstar girl group, though. After all, if they can juggle both solo ventures and their main act, then not only do the girls benefit from it, but we do, too.
