Gears of War 3 Horde Command DLC Fortifies Its Defences This November

We now know when to expect the first downloadable content pack for Gears of War 3. Entitled Horde Command, it will fortify its defences on the first of November for 800 Microsoft Points (the equivalent of ten dollars.) It can also be downloaded through the use of the game's season pass. Either way, you'll be granted access to three new maps, some new characters (Bernie, Big Rig Dizzy and Onyx Guard), plus weapon skins.

We now know when to expect the first downloadable content pack for Gears of War 3.

Entitled Horde Command, it will fortify its defences on the first of November for 800 Microsoft Points (the equivalent of ten dollars.) It can also be downloaded through the use of the game’s season pass. Either way, you’ll be granted access to three new maps, some new characters (Bernie, Big Rig Dizzy and Onyx Guard), plus weapon skins.

There will also be some new Horde mode fortifications added, all of which sound pretty neat. These include a badass command centre, which lets players call in assistance from snipers, mortars or the ever-deadly hammer of dawn. Rounding out the package will be a decoy upgrade to allow the creation of a fighting onyx guard bot, a sentry upgrade which adds fire bolts and a silverback upgrade with powerful rockets. Even better is the fact that your repair costs will be reduced.
