Last month, Martin Garrix and Justin Bieber made headlines when they spent some time at the beach with videographer Rory Kramer. It appears that their friendship wasn’t isolated to a single occasion, as a video clip of them singing Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” has now surfaced.

While they were both in Nashville recently, Garrix and Bieber apparently met briefly – and as can be seen in the video above, they didn’t avoid musical experimentation. That being said, whether the clip was meant to preview a collaboration or they were simply paying homage to Swift because they were in the city where she rose to stardom remains to be seen.

Nonetheless, by now it’s common knowledge that Martin Garrix and Justin Bieber have some sort of collaboration in the works. Be it a reimagining of Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” or something else altogether, fans of either artist can look forward to it in the coming months.
