It appears that Netflix‘s romance feature Squared Love All Over Again hasn’t been receiving as much love as the streamer would hope in the lead-up to the romantic comedy’s release on Feb. 13.
The limited interest in Squared Love All Over Again could stem from the film’s lack of promotion; at the time of this writing, the only press it has received is from various new outlets doing reviews. Notably, Squared Love All Over Again has not been added to Flix Patrol, a site that ranks top streaming films and shows, or mentioned on any social media platforms.
Squared Love All Over Again, a sequel of Squared Love, follows the relationship struggles of a renowned journalist Stefan “Enzo” Tkaczyk (Mateusz Banasiuk) and a teacher, Adrianna (Monika Grabarczyk), after she gets a new job. The Polish film’s supporting cast includes Mikolaj Roznerski, Tomasz Karolak, Monika Krzywkowska, Miroslaw Baka, Krzysztof Czeczot, and Jacek Knap.
The nonchalant approach with the promotion surrounding Squared Love All Over Again is a very different tone compared to Squared Love. When the first movie was released on Netflix in 2021, it received more reviews and had a page on Flix Patrol, aside from not making a social media presence. During its debut, many critics gave Squared Love a fair rating, possibly because they didn’t consider it to be a marquee project.
Although a clear reason behind Squared Love All Over Again‘s limited promotion has yet to provided to the general public, a handful can agree that the lackluster reactions to the previous film may have played a part in why the sequel wasn’t heavily pushed.
Fans can watch both Squared Love films now streaming on Netflix.
