NY woman says first date at a Brooklyn bar lasted one drink, and before she left he asked her to smell his hair

A TikTok user named Victoria Vega recently shared her alleged experience after a first date in New York City took a seemingly bizarre turn. The video details an encounter at a bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, that left her completely baffled.

“I just had the worst first date of my life,” Vega said at the start of the video. She reported that when her date arrived at the bar, he may have seemed a little under the influence. This then set a strange tone for the rest of the evening, as he barely spoke to her, and at times looked at other girls.

When he finally did engage in conversation, he shared some unusual personal habits. Vega alleged that he told her he does not use shampoo or conditioner to wash his hair, and he even admitted to peeing in the sink.

The first date only got worse from there. Vega claims her date kept staring at a group of women sitting nearby instead of focusing on her. She eventually reached a breaking point and had to ask him directly if he was high or if he was even interested in her at all.

She said she never thought she would ever need to ask those questions on a first date. The evening didn’t last long; they managed only one drink before the situation became too much to handle. Vega claims she decided to finish her drink and head out for pizza to cheer herself up.

Before she could leave, the man did something even more confusing. He allegedly tilted his head toward her and asked her to smell his hair as he held it near her face. After that incident, she apparently left the bar and went to a pizzeria. “Thought I was getting punk’d,” Vega wrote in the caption of her video. She added that she had a margarita slice afterward, though she thought she had recorded that part too.

Many of the commenters were appalled by her date gone wrong. However, many also mentioned how pretty the TikToker was. Some comments said, “bro fumbled hard,” while another said, “You’re absolutely stunning so it’s his loss babe.” One commenter said, “The real question is how did you even end up on a date with him.”  Another said, “I’m not even kidding I’ve experienced this exact same situation did we go out w the same guy.”
