‘Secret Invasion’ star reveals which tenured Marvel actor he’d love to work with next

Nick Fury is a small-fry compared to this juggernaut...

While it’s a pretty torrid benchmark against which to measure an actor’s success, landing oneself a role in the MCU is a pretty safe way of considering that a performer has “made it” in the acting industry. One such inbound newcomer is Kingsley Ben-Adir. While the star has already had a decade-long and successful career in Hollywood, Secret Invasion marks his first foray into the world’s biggest cinematic franchise.

Ben-Adir’s role in the MCU is no small part eithe –he will be playing a Skrull named Kravik in the upcoming Disney Plus series, and be going toe-to-toe with Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, who has been around more or less since day one. It turns out, Ben-Adir’s ambitions for Gravik extend beyond the grizzled MCU veteran – he’d also love to take the fight to The Hulk.

In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Kingsley Ben-Adir was asked if he’d love to see Gravik interact with any other MCU characters, and one name immediately came to mind:

“Just on a selfish actor level, I guess maybe Mark Ruffalo. He’s great. I’d love to work with him. Ruffalo’s isn’t it, right? There’s a bunch of cool people who do Marvel. So yeah, there’s loads.”

Provided Gravik lives to fight another day following the events of Secret Invasion, it’s not all that far-fetched for the Skrull to one day come face-to-face with Bruce Banner. Perhaps if he were to ever to become a Super Skrull, he may just be the perfect adversary to get the Hulk… hulk-ing again, rather than continuing to be the subdued entity that coexists with Bruce Banner.

But first thing’s first – Kravik will need to start off by going up against Nick Fury in Secret Invasion, which arrives on Disney Plus on June 21.
