‘She won’t be getting on any rides tomorrow,’ a daughter says after her mom jumped off a Disney ride in California and got escorted out

Her jump forced a full ride evacuation

A woman was recently escorted out of Disney California Adventure after she jumped off Grizzly River Run while it was in motion, as reported by The Nerd Stash. Her daughter Adrianna, known on TikTok as @adriannarodriguez24, shared the incident after visiting the park with her extended family.

The Grizzly River Run is a popular water attraction where guests board a whitewater raft that spins as it travels down a river. Adrianna explained in her video that her mother had a panic attack shortly after boarding the raft. According to Adrianna, this distress led her mother to “jump off the ride without telling anybody.”

One of the other family members mentioned they attempted to calm the mother down. However, they were unsuccessful, and she reportedly unbuckled her seatbelt and leaped from the raft once it made its first turn. This move forced the park to shut down Grizzly River Run entirely, as staff had to clear every raft from the river.

Disney staff told her the day at the park was over

Disneyland employees moved quickly to evacuate everyone on the ride and drained the water from the river. Cast Members were reportedly still helping guests off Grizzly River Run about 30 minutes into the shutdown. Adrianna and her family filmed the scene from outside the attraction, joking about how upset the people around them appeared.

Once the employees approached the family, the conversation made it clear that the consequences would be immediate. One employee told them, “When things like this happen, it causes an evacuation of the entire attraction and it’s going to be closed for a couple of hours.” The staff member further explained that the mother’s actions were considered a “safety issue.”

The situation escalated when the employees announced they would be “escorting you out of the park.” Adrianna initially asked if the entire group had to leave. Staff reportedly clarified that only her mother had to exit, as she was the one who stepped out of the vehicle on Grizzly River Run while it was moving.

Adrianna then asked whether her mother could return the following day, as the family had purchased multi-day passes. However, the manager did not confirm it, saying the question was for the security team. The family still joked that they would be back with their passes.

Adrianna also suggested her mother would be taking a break from the attractions, noting, “She won’t be getting on any rides tomorrow.” The video captured the moment the mother performed what Adrianna described as the “walk of shame” as several security guards escorted her out of the park.
