This real-life Ursula ordering shrimp from a Starbucks barista is the funniest thing you’ll see all day

We’d give our voice to be at this Starbucks when a real-life 'Little Mermaid' character walked in.

Ursula isn’t underestimating the importance of body language as she strolls up to Starbucks to order what was, quite possibly, the coffee chain’s most unique request of the afternoon. That’s right; the sea witch is taking her one-woman show out of Atlantica and into the coffee shop we all frequent far too often in anticipation of Disney’s live-action premiere of The Little Mermaid next week.

Joo Skellington shared a video to TikTok, all dolled up in next-level special effects makeup, and took our favorite sea witch through one of the most routine tasks of a millennial today: Ordering their favorite coffee. Of course, this is the bossy Ursula we’re talking about, so it wasn’t a standard request, and we have to say, it’s still not the most complicated drink we’ve ever heard when we go to the coffee chain.

Batting her lengthy lashes, Ursula waltzes up and speaks to the “dear sweet child” behind the counter, and we barely made it this far without bursting into hysterical laughter. First — why didn’t this happen at our local Starbucks? I visit my location so often that I’ve become friends with the baristas, and I can tell you that they’d love to see this bad witch show up to order a drink, but I digress.

The lucky barista took Ursula’s order: a venti java chip Frappuccino with almond milk, no whipped cream, and extra shrimp. You read that right — Ursula is going for a no-dairy option. Okay, so we know that’s not the request that stopped you in your tracks; it was the whole shrimp in the coffee thing, but this is the sea witch we’re talking about; what else would you expect?

As Ursula twiddled her fingers waiting for the drink, she soon discovered that Starbucks doesn’t really have shrimp on hand, but there was another request she hoped the barista could help her with:

“Well then, can I have your beautiful voice please?”

Followed by maniacal laughter, Ursula took a seat and enjoyed the drink, which was delicious, even without shrimp. We’re quite jealous that we’ve never witnessed something this iconic in person, but glad to have seen it unfold on video.

The cosplay mix of drag makeup, lashes so long we’d bat them all the time, and attitude is the perfect celebration of Ursula, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. While fans are flocking to theaters to see Halle Bailey’s debut as Ariel, another group will be filling seats to root for her nemesis in theaters, and we don’t blame them. There’s something special about a Disney villain, and Ursula is the best of the worst.
