‘Tory please leave me alone’: Megan Thee Stallion breaks down as convicted shooter Tory Lanez refuses to back down

She is not happy that his conviction may get overturned.

Megan Thee Stallion has spoken out strongly against Tory Lanez after a recent press conference where Lanez’s legal team tried to get his 2020 shooting conviction overturned.

The rapper posted on social media, sharing her deep frustration and anger over the ongoing attempts to question her testimony and the constant harassment she has faced since the incident. According to TMZ, Lanez was found guilty in 2022 of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, negligently firing a gun, and having a loaded, unregistered firearm in connection with the shooting that hurt Megan Thee Stallion. Even though the court ruled against him, Lanez still says he is innocent.

Megan’s latest response comes after Lanez’s lawyers held a press conference earlier this month, presenting what they call new evidence that could clear his name. This evidence focuses on a man named Bradley James, who reportedly said he was a bodyguard for Kelsey Harris, Megan’s former friend, who was there during the shooting.

Lanez’s legal team claims James’s testimony would point to Harris, not Lanez, as the shooter. However, James did not attend the press conference or testify during the original trial. This comes after Lanez was stabbed 14 times and was rushed to the hospital.

Megan directly addressed these new claims and the continued public debate in her social media posts. She expressed exhaustion over the repeated efforts to discredit her version of events and questioned why people keep trying to make her seem untrustworthy.

Megan wrote in her TikTok post, “At what point are yall gonna stop making me have to re live being shot BY TORY !? At what point are Tory and yall FANS gonna stop lying ? Like how much is the check to keep harassing me? Why is this happening EVERY DAY?”

She continued, “I’m sick of this s*** LEAVE ME TF ALONE!!!! HE AINT DARE GET ON THAT STAND AND DENY HE SHOT ME AND THAT WAS HIS CHOICE BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE DID THAT SHIT! IDGAF ABT A BLOG OR A BOT!!! WHY IN TF WOULD ME … MEGAN THEE STALLION HAVE TO LIE ON THIS MF ABT SHOOTING ME!” and concluded by calling Lanez a “f***ing demon”.

She talked about how draining it has been to constantly defend herself and how the public scrutiny has taken a heavy emotional toll. Her words showed not just anger toward Lanez but also frustration with the online discussions that keep casting doubt on her story. She described the situation as an endless wave of harassment fueled by online hate and rumors.

This new attempt to challenge the conviction comes after Lanez was given a ten-year prison sentence. The renewed legal push has brought the case back into the spotlight, where it has stayed since the shooting first happened. Making things even more complicated, an online petition calling for Lanez to be pardoned has gained traction.

It has support from big-name artists like Drake, Ye, Ty Dolla Sign, Amber Rose, Trippie Redd, Kodak Black, Popcaan, Joyner Lucas, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie. The celebrity backing of this petition has added another layer of controversy, drawing even more attention to the already widely discussed case.
