Uber Eats courier allegedly returned to Miami house to ask for girl’s number, then her influencer boyfriend showed up with a gun

He most definitely isn't getting a tip either.

A fitness influencer in Miami has been arrested after he was accused of shooting an Uber Eats courier who allegedly asked for his girlfriend’s number. The courier returned to the apartment complex where Khuslen Khan lived after delivering food to Khan’s girlfriend and was hoping to see her again.

The shooting happened on October 12, according to WSVN. According to the arrest report, the Uber Eats courier showed up at an apartment complex near the Dadeland Mall in Miami during the early hours of Monday morning. He was reportedly met in the lobby by a woman who picked up the food he was delivering, and the pair had a brief conversation.

Approximately 50 minutes later, the driver returned to the apartment complex with the hope that he would see the woman again and possibly even get her phone number. Instead, he was met by the woman’s boyfriend, fitness influencer Khuslen Khan, whose legal name is Khuslen Saruultuya.

Investigators say that Khan approached the courier in a gray Corvette and pointed a gun at the man. He then reportedly ordered the driver to lie on the ground before firing a shot that grazed the man’s right buttock.

Khan threatened to kill the Uber Eats driver

The threats to the delivery driver’s life weren’t over though, as Khan also allegedly struck the victim in the back of the head with his gun, causing a 2-inch wound. Then the influencer apparently pointed the gun at the driver’s head and told him, “I am going to kill you.”

During the commotion, Khan’s girlfriend also tried to intervene, yelling, “Babe, please stop!” at her boyfriend as he chased the victim around his car with the gun still pointed at him, according to investigators.

Eventually, the driver was able to escape from the deadly situation and drive himself to South Miami Hospital, where his injuries were treated.

Deputies were later able to identify Khan and took him into custody at his apartment without incident. A search of the apartment later found a large quantity of narcotics, which included cocaine, MDMA, ketamine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and prescription pills, which led to a separate drug affidavit being brought against Khan.

The fitness influencer now faces several charges, some related to the attempted shooting, and some related to his alleged drug possession. The charges include attempted felony murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon for the alleged shooting. In court on Tuesday, Judge Mindy S. Glazer also read the drug charges: “Trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in ecstasy, possession with intent to sell Adderall.” Glazer advised Khan to “Make sure you hire a criminal defense lawyer.”
