‘Yellowstone’ star Cole Hauser ditches the Rip Wheeler beard for a trip to Disney World’s Pandora

Cole Hauser got rid of his iconic Rip Wheeler beard for a trip to Walt Disney World with his family, and he still looks as charming as ever.

Yellowstone star Cole Hauser ditched his signature Rip Wheeler facial hair during his latest trip to Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom, and he showed off the new look in a family photo in Pandora — one of the most stunning locations across Disney property.

That’s right; the Yellowstone star brought the Dutton vibes to Disney World to spend some quality time with his family before filming for the second half of the epic fifth season picks up again soon. With stakes higher than ever and Dutton lives on the line, it goes without saying that we’re anticipating more love and heartache than ever before — so we’re glad Hauser got to spend some time with his family before getting back on the saddle.

Shedding his long beard and mustache combo, Hauser took to Disney with only a bit of facial scruff and a ball cap instead of a cowboy hat like we’re used to — but he’s still the number one ranch hand in our hearts. With or without the beard, Hauser is incredibly charming and ridiculously easy on the eyes.

Yellowstone is known for crafting the finest stories of enemies and lovers, heartache and healing, and bringing some of the most beautiful people to breathe life into them. Taylor Sheridan knew the kind of magic he was crafting in every step of the Yellowverse journey so far, and one of the most beloved characters in the Dutton realm is John’s right-hand man, Rip Wheeler, so what should we expect from his storyline as Yellowstone picks back up later this summer, specifically where his bond with Beth is concerned?

In a chat with Decider in November, Hauser says there’s healing for the couple to go through together, but Wheeler knows how to play his cards.

“I love the story that Taylor wrote for them this season. Beth has to face the consequences for actions in her past while Rip must support her through that process. He understands her insecurities and the things that she’s going through. He’s just that rock for her. He’s the man that I think every woman would love to have, one who listens more than he speaks.”

We’ve already seen the beginning of their journey as season five brought Beth many sleepless nights and apologies for her beau. However, there’s still a lot for them to navigate, as the upcoming episodes will see the pair working through more turmoil than ever before, especially where Jamie is concerned. There’s still a bounty on Beth’s head, and Rip won’t be too pleased to hear that Jamie’s out for her blood when new episodes begin airing this summer.
