Former President Donald Trump had several harsh words for an opinion columnist from The New York Times after the disgraced politician appeared to stumble upon a weeks-old article titled “Donald Trump Must Be Prosecuted,” regarding his possible indictment. Earlier this month, the Manhattan district attorney’s office announced that charges related to Trump’s alleged involvement in hush-money payments to the adult film star Stormy Daniels are likely.
The twice-impeached former commander-in-chief took to his podium over at Truth Social, where he blasted the writer Charles M. Blow, who is Black, of the “Failing New York Times,” alleging that he was a “racist” before making an expletive mockery of the man’s last name.
It’s also unclear why Trump is only now addressing the opinion report dated March 15, where he accused Blow of being a “sick degenerate” who apparently “doesn’t like our Country or the values that made it great, prior to its massive FAILURE over the last two years,” seemingly taking a jab at the Joe Biden administration, which took over after lawfully winning the 2020 presidential election.
The media personality claimed that Blow’s article called for his prosecution based on his “White” skin. However, it argued that Trump’s repeated pattern of agitating his fan base whenever he’s held to the fire was not a reason to avoid “vigorously and swiftly” pursuing charges against, “but rather a reason to do it.”
Trump continued his rant by calling Blow “dumb” before falsely claiming that our nation was in a state of “decline” and that citizens were “stupidly” being led into World War III.
