‘He looks dead’: Donald Trump has been well and truly beaten by China and it shows

Donald Trump well and truly embarrassed himself with his tariff policy. Numerous financial experts and people with functioning brains did try to warn him that it would not end well for him or America, but he refused to listen. Now he’s hinted that he might back off on the China tariffs after it’s all blown up in his face.

Answering reporter’s questions this week, the president addressed the ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and China relating to trade tariffs. All that ill-placed confidence and bravado from when he announced the tariffs a couple of weeks ago has evaporated and instead we see a much more subdued and tired looking Trump.

This just begs the question, how hard did China wipe the floor with him?

Donald Trump is looking pretty exhausted

Many online noticed the apparent shift in demeanour as well. On Reddit, one person noted that Trump sounded “desperate” after his latest shift in policy. However, a large majority focused on the president’s apparent physical appearance. 

One person wrote, “Dude looks terrible… look at those eyes. He can barely keep them open,” although that’s not exactly new for Donald who fell asleep at his own trial last year. Another simply said, “He looks dead,” while a third chimed in, “I think he is starting to look more tired n old, even the orange tan can’t cover the weariness, and the combover is getting thinner by the week.”

It’s hard to deny that the dispute between the two countries has likely had both a mental and physical toll on Trump. Despite insisting that things were going fine with China most are somewhat sceptical and it’s easy to see why. China aren’t playing Trump’s game. It’ll be interesting to see how the MAGA crowd spin this very obvious loss for Trump, no doubt they’ll find a way to make it look like a master play from Donald.

Being a bigot takes a toll

Last week Trump proudly touted the results of his physical, which apparently proved he was “the healthiest president who ever lived.” Well despite that many think he’s looking worse than ever. Perhaps the crushing reality of how monumentally stupid his tariff plan was has finally hit him? Either way the president has once again flip-flopped on his trade policy. He may not have dementia, but he has to be the least intelligent president the U.S. has ever had.

Perhaps it’s time to admit Trump isn’t quite up to the task of running a country. I mean, most of us have been saying that for a while, but it’s becoming more and more visible by the day. The man is 78-years-old, which makes him the oldest president to be elected. If he makes it to the end of his term he’ll be 82, the man needs to retire.
