MAGA concocts harebrained scheme which involves using Barron Trump to get at Greenland

Donald Trump has renewed his demands that Denmark hand over Greenland to the United States and he seems absolutely determined to get what he wants. Now his deluded MAGA cult has come up with a way they believe the president could potentially use his son, Barron Trump, to get his hands on the country and its resources without resorting to force.

That’s right, Trump’s far-right clowns believe they’ve arrived at a “diplomatic solution” to the whole Greenland debacle. Their plan you ask? They want to have Barron Trump marry into the Danish royal family of course! Some MAGA individuals have claimed that Barron could marry Princess Isabella and then the Danish royal family could give Greenland to Trump as a dowry payment.

This plan is, quite frankly, insane, and that’s without even addressing the fact that this would essentially be a forced marriage. Who’s to say whether Isabella would want to marry Barron Trump, or whether Barron would want to marry her?

Some weird MAGA cultists even took it a step further, delving into downright creep territory by using A.I. to generate pictures of what their kids could potentially look like. Yuck!

There’s more than a few problems with the Barron-Isabella marriage plan

What’s more, the whole concept of a dowry payment is very old testament. Within Christianity it is a rather antiquated concept and not something which you see in a majority of modern day marriages in the U.S. All this is just to say it’s unlikely there even would be a dowry payment if such a marriage were to even occur (which it never realistically would).

Even if the Danish royal family were to pay a dowry, who’s to say they’d give an entire country away as payment? That’s an awfully big dowry and what’s more, it completely ignores the wants of the citizens in Greenland itself. Them and their country aren’t just a thing to be passed around as payment for some phony royal marriage.

Many on X also pointed out the fact that the U.S. isn’t a monarchy and never was. The fact that some Americans are willing to consider this shows that they really do view Donald Trump as some sort of king. I suppose we’ll be bringing feudalism to America next.

“We’re back to monarchy,” wrote one individual on X, “are we living in the [sic] 1326 and we all didn’t know?” Asked another. Clearly this plan is beyond delusional but it gives an insight into how the minds of a typical MAGA individual works. Like Donald Trump, they’re living in a fantasy land, one where a forced marriage could somehow bag the U.S. a whole other country.
