Marjorie Taylor Greene: Trump told me ‘if my son gets killed, I deserve it’, says she is a ‘traitor to him’

"I've saved these text messages. I'd probably get put in jail if I released them publically."

If you’re on Donald Trump‘s enemies list, it’s open season on both you and your family. Marjorie Taylor Greene, formerly one of Trump’s most passionate cheerleaders (she once said she would take a bullet for him), is now experiencing his rage, all stemming from her prioritizing Jeffrey Epstein’s victims over him.

How furious is Trump with Greene? Well, in a recent speech at the Ron Paul Institute, she detailed the many death threats she’d received and what (if any) support she’d received from her former MAGA comrades.

Greene explained she got no response at all from White House chief of staff Susan Wiles. Kash Patel responded, saying he was “on it”. He took no further action, leading Greene to wonder exactly what he’s “on”. JD Vance, however, was “very nice” and said he’d do everything he could to help. And Trump?

“And I heard back from Donald Trump. And I’ve saved these text messages. I’d probably get put in jail if I released them publically. But I’ve saved them. Well Donald Trump proceeded to tell me that it was my fault and that I deserve it. If my son gets killed, I deserve it because I was a traitor to him. That is our President of the United States, that’s the man who says MAGA is whatever he wants it to be.”

“The man who says MAGA is whatever he wants it to be.”

Green’s son, 22-year-old Derek Greene, has been the target of specific, direct death threats fueled by Trump’s “traitor” posting. It’s unclear exactly why he’s been singled out for death threats, as (like all Greene’s children) he isn’t a public figure and hasn’t made any political statements.

But, I guess for Trump, he’s fair game. It’s one thing for Trump to wish death upon his political enemies – it’s not very presidential, but it is absolutely in character for Trump himself. But taking pleasure in your enemies’ children being targeted and saying if the worst happens it’s their fault? That’s the thinking of a truly sick and twisted individual.

So where next for Marjorie? Well, I suspect she’s biding her time until the Trump administration catastrophically fails, allowing her to swoop back into politics with a (credible) argument to MAGA that she will never compromise her America First principles. But, given that she’s now speaking at the Ron Paul Institute, I’m sure the Libertarian Party will welcome her with open arms.
