Megyn Kelly has tried her best to remain on Donald Trump’s good side, usually at the cost of her dignity. In 2015, Trump caused uproar when he appeared to poke fun at Kelly menstruating, later telling Don Lemon that there was “blood coming out of her wherever”.
Trump didn’t let up after that, calling her “overrated”, a “lightweight”, and said he had “zero respect” for her, claiming she was “nasty”. But, during his first presidency, the two temporarily buried the hatchet after he said he regretted calling her a “bimbo”. Well, that’s nice.
Kelly transformed into a steadfast MAGA drone during the 2024 presidential campaign and has generally remained in lockstep with Trump, even going to bat for him by suggesting that, if you kinda think about it, maybe Jeffrey Epstein wasn’t so bad after all.
But, like the proverbial scorpion, Trump has now betrayed her once again. Earlier this month, he lumped Kelly in with Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones, dismissing them as “Low IQ” people who are “stupid,” “losers,” and “nut jobs” who had been “fighting me for years” and said they all think it’s “wonderful” for Iran to have a nuclear weapon.
Wow, Donald Trump betrayed you, huh? Crazy.
Kelly seems shocked and dismayed that the guy who stabbed her in the back two or three times has now done it once more:

Wow, yeah, Megyn, great job campaigning for this guy to be president. You really knocked that one out of the park. She went on to bemoan his disloyalty:

We’ve had our skirmishes in the past, but who fought harder than a lot of others during the lawfare with him to make sure that people knew it was bulls–t, stood up for him during the actual electoral contest to make sure people understood what was at stake and why he had to be the choice who he just…
There’s no loyalty in return ever from Trump. If you have a principled disagreement with something he does you’re otherized, you’re the enemy.”
Looking for loyalty from Donald Trump is like looking for veganism from a great white shark, it’s not gonna happen! That Kelly has known Trump personally for so long and still didn’t realize this says a lot more about her than it does about him.
But Trump needn’t worry about her abandoning him. Give it a few weeks and, like all the other times, she’ll come crawling back begging for his attention once again.
