People mad as ‘laziest VP in history’ VP JD Vance had Disneyland closed for umpteenth holiday this year

JD Vance seems to have spent more time vacationing than doing actual work.

JD Vance seems to have spent almost his entire time as Vice President flying around the world taking luxury holidays seemingly without a care in the world. What’s worse is that Vance is apparently using his position to spoil the holidays of other hard-working people, who saved their money to treat their families.

The slightly insufferable and often ignorant VP recently sat down with Katie Miller, wife of White House aide Stephen Miller, on her podcast as the pair discussed a range of topics, from raising children to holidays. While on the subject, Vance revealed that his security had Disneyland closed to the public while he and his family were visiting.

“We had the island to ourselves, which was very cool…It was awesome…sorry to all the people at Disneyland for the longer lines, but we had a very good time.”

While it may be standard procedure to protect the VP and his family, Vance’s comments on the matter rubbed many the wrong way, especially considering how often he takes holidays. When he tweeted last month “I wonder if other VPs had as much excitement as I do,” he must have been talking about his experience on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Is JD Vance the laziest VP ever?

Vance’s long list of holidays may surprise. One individual on X took it upon themselves to list all the destinations he has travelled to lately, bear in mind Vance has only been VP for a little over six months.

It’s easy to see why Vance is so often forgotten when people are discussing U.S. politics. He does very little and doesn’t offer much in the way of actual policies; on top of that, he’s always away on holiday, it seems.

What’s worse is the fact that when he is on holiday, he seems to ruin things for other holidaygoers. His Disneyland anecdote, which Vance attempts to make a joke out of, was probably not all that funny for the poorer families who worked hard and saved money to be able to afford a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Disneyland. It just shows how inconsiderate and selfish Vance really is.

In another case, Vance’s team apparently had the water levels of an Ohio river raised for his family’s boating trip. Most recently, an increase in security around the Cotswolds in the U.K. has angered residents of the quiet village, but it seems that Vance doesn’t care.

All of this ends up painting a picture of a lazy VP abusing his privileged position to selfishly ruin holidays for others while shirking his responsibilities. During the Biden administration, Kamala Harris was frequently hounded by detractors who claimed that she did nothing. Well, here we have Vance, taking his family on an expensive holiday that feels like every other week, and all on the taxpayers’ dime.
