Stormy Daniels needs only two words upon hearing Donald Trump has been indicted

The adult film star at the center of Trump's scandal reacts.

Years after reports of Donald Trump’s ‘hush’ payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels first broke, the former U.S. President has now been formally indicted in New York by a grand jury for his involvement in the scandal.

Stormy Daniel’s attorney, Clark Brewster, shared a statement to Twitter about respecting the grand jury’s decision. Daniels herself then chimed into share her immediate reaction to the resolution, and she needed very few words.

Stormy Daniels expressing her gratitude comes after months of Trump trolls continually taking aim at her, with the former President himself calling her “Stormy ‘Horseface’ Daniels.” The adult film star hasn’t been hesitant to fire back, sharing supposedly intimate information about Trump, putting images in our minds that we‘d rather not have.

Following his indictment, Trump took to his Truth Social account to share a statement on the verdict, calling the entire saga “Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.” In standard Trump form, the statement doubles down on his innocence, and deflects all of the blame to the Democrats.

Trump’s indictment for his involvement in the payments to Stormy Daniels is one of many legal hurdles that the former President is currently facing. He will also need to answer for vote tampering in Georgia during the 2020 election, mishandling of classified documents, and his involvement in the Jan. 6 insurrection. All of these alleged crimes, on top of the indictment, leave us questioning whether Trump can run for president at all.
