‘This aged like gas station sushi’: Donald Trump threatens to unleash hell he accused ‘weak’ Barack Obama would bring to America

A disastrous and deadly irony.

In all his years to stay relevant as a political leader, Donald Trump has leveled many unfounded accusations against his opponents. From Joe Biden to Hilary Clinton to Barack Obama, he has spun many baseless stories to brainwash the MAGA masses. The kicker is that now he is doing exactly what he called a disastrous Obama move since the then-president was, according to him, “weak and ineffective.”

The world is currently witnessing the mess Trump has created and watching as he threatens Iran with consequences, openly considering U.S. airstrikes on Iran, particularly against underground nuclear sites, unless they stand down. In case this isn’t ringing a bell for hardcore MAGA cultists, this is exactly what he accused Obama of in 2011, during the lead-up to Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, as he alleged the then-president would start a war with Iran to gain popularity and use conflict to secure re-election.

Unless Trump brainwashed MAGA brains and somehow managed to rewrite history – which he keeps trying to do – America will remember that Obama did the opposite, brokering the 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA) that was signed between Iran and six world powers, including the U.S. It made Iran drastically limit its nuclear program (including uranium enrichment) in exchange for sanctions relief.

But then, in 2018, Trump withdrew the U.S. from the JCPOA, calling it a “terrible deal,” and reimposed harsh sanctions on Iran under a “maximum pressure” campaign, escalating tensions dramatically. This step allowed Iran to gradually increase its uranium enrichment beyond JCPOA limits, to the point where, in 2025, it is close to weapons-grade levels.

Obama’s deal successfully paused Iran’s nuclear threat. Trump ended that success without a backup plan, and now, he is leading the U.S. closer to war with Iran—precisely what he warned Obama would do.
