Marjorie Taylor Greene has shared a chilling interaction with Donald Trump, revealing that the president allegedly told her she would deserve it if her son were killed because she had become a “traitor” to him.
This explosive claim came to light again during a speech at the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, where Greene detailed how the aftermath of her push for the release of the Epstein files led to a barrage of death threats.
Greene, who was once Trump’s loudest supporter, explained that she reached out to various high-level officials for assistance when the threats intensified. Per The Daily Beast, she stated that she forwarded the disturbing messages to FBI Director Kash Patel, Vice President JD Vance, White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, and deputy chief of staff James Blair. According to Greene, the response from her former allies was largely nonexistent or dismissive.
She noted that she received no response from Susie Wiles or James Blair. While she did hear back from Kash Patel, his response was brief and ultimately unhelpful: “On it.” She never heard from him again. She added a bit of dark humor to the moment, wryly remarking, “I don’t know what he’s on,” which prompted a burst of laughter from the crowd. This jab hits hard following reports of his excessive drinking and being unreachable behind locked doors.
Her story just gets worse from here
Greene noted that Vice President JD Vance was compassionate and kind, assuring her that they would do everything possible to investigate the situation. The situation with the president, however, was a different story entirely. Greene recounted that after she reached out to him to explain the severity of the threats against her children, Trump allegedly blamed her for the entire ordeal.
“I saved these text messages—I’d probably get put in jail if I released them publicly, but I saved them—where Donald Trump proceeded to tell me that it was my fault and that I deserve it,” Greene said. She reiterated that the president told her that if her son were killed, it would be her own fault for being a traitor.
HuffPost reported that she first shared this horrifying detail in a YouTube interview. There, Greene told Piers Morgan that Trump showed no compassion whatsoever when she explained that her children were being targeted due to his rhetoric.
Greene, who served as the representative for Georgia’s 14th District from 2020 until her resignation in January 2026, expressed deep frustration that even her political opponents in the Democratic Party would not have responded with such cruelty. She described the president’s reaction as a nail in the coffin regarding her view of his character.
Since breaking with the president, Greene has become a vocal critic of him. Recently, after his comments about ending a civilization, she even called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked to remove him from office.
The former lawmaker’s personal life has also become a point of friction, as her fiancé, Brian Glenn, continues his role as a White House correspondent for the Real America’s Voice network, where he remains a staunch supporter of the president. Meanwhile, the administration has pushed back against Greene’s claims.
A White House spokesman, Davis Ingle, said that Greene is a quitter trying to remain relevant by appearing on liberal media shows. He also suggested that she is suffering from what he called Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Despite the backlash and the public attacks from the president, who has taken to calling her Marjorie Traitor Brown, Greene maintains that the experience revealed the true colors of her former allies. The situation highlights a stark divide between the once-devout supporter and the man she helped champion for years.
As Greene continues to speak out about these private exchanges, it is clear that the bridge between her and the president has been permanently burned. For now, the public is left with her account of these text messages, which she insists are saved, even if she fears the legal consequences of making them public.
