A TikTok user who posts as @tall_lioness64 shared a reaction video after watching another woman describe a Costco pickup stop. In the inset clip, the woman, identified on screen as a nurse, said she went to Costco and stated, “All I needed was to get a pack of batteries and toilet paper.”
She said she realized she had left her wallet. She then described seeing a Black couple and asking if they would purchase the items for her. She said the total would probably be just $40 or $50 and “nothing crazy.”
The nurse said the woman in the couple looked up and replied, “I’m sorry, no.” She then said, “The f–k?” The reaction video from @tall_lioness64 plays that clip on a phone while the poster sits in a car in a purple top with a seatbelt on. The video has gained 721,300 views, 83,400 likes, and over 4,270 comments.

She said in her TikTok video, “Not just no, but hell no.” She said those people did not know the nurse and asked where the sense of entitlement came from. The poster’s caption stated that the nurse offered to Cash App or Zelle the couple, adding that scams come in all shades.
The nurse had commented at the start of her clip, “It be your own people,” according to the reaction. @tall_lioness64 said anyone could be asked and that she did not think anybody in their right mind would purchase Costco items for a total stranger based on information they send. She said people scam each other every day. Then he stated the Zelle could be fake and the Venmo could be fake. She added that no one knows that lady.
She also said wearing scrubs does not mean a thing. She asked if viewers had seen all the fake doctors and nurses on TikTok. She said if someone forgot a wallet, the step is to go home, get the wallet, tell Costco they will be right back, and return to pay. Such public disputes over payment can escalate, as when a tiktoker witnessed a woman order 50 ice creams, ask for them free, and throw them away after employees refused.
She said to leave strangers alone. She stated you do not know if $50 or $60 is something they have, and you do not know people’s situations. She called it the nerve and the absolute audacity, then said, “Girl, please.” She closed with, “Anyway, love y’all. Bye.”
Viewers in the comments focused on how the nurse reached pickup, payment options, and whether a stranger should cover the bill. One commenter questioned the details of the trip and wrote, “If she forgot her wallet, how did she have her Costco card?” Another pointed to the phone visible in the story and wrote, “Don’t they take Apple Pay at Costco? She clearly has a phone.”
A commenter said scrubs are not limited to medical staff and wrote, “Doctor and nurses aren’t the only ones who wears scrubs. Anyone can purchase them.” Another stated a boundary with the line, “Your emergency isn’t mine.”
