The British creator posted clips showing separate exchanges with a man who initially appeared to be making small talk. However, viewers noticed a pattern as the discussions shifted from everyday topics toward details about Alex’s private life and background.

In one clip, the exchange begins after the man notices something on Alex’s arm. When he asks about it, Alex explains that it is “just eczema.” What starts as a question about her skin soon shifts into other areas of her life.

The man tells Alex, “I think you were married.”

After she responds, “Um, no,” he moves on to asking about her education, saying, “I bet you went to school. Where? Which school you went to?”

Alex declines to answer, replying, “Um, I don’t really share that info. Like where I went to school.”

Although she later reveals she attended high school in Botswana, she avoids naming the specific school and reiterates that she does not usually share that information.

Viewers largely focused on how the exchanges developed rather than any individual question. Some felt Alex was being too accommodating during the interactions, with one commenter writing, “Stop being polite. You don’t owe this creep ANY information or conversation whatsoever.”
