A TikTok creator known as Grimm History has shared a story he says was sent to him by an anonymous cargo pilot.
The account describes a strange cargo pickup in Eastern Congo in 2017 and a container with claw marks torn into its metal frame. The creator, who runs the account under the username mikeygrimm13, posts horror and storytime content to an audience of more than 182,000 followers. Grimm said the pilot messaged him directly with the account and that he could not confirm any part of it.
The video has been viewed widely and drawn over 1,200 comments. Grimm said in the video that the pilot reached out again after the story was first sent, adding new details about later flights.

According to the story shared by Grimm History, the pilot was working a humanitarian cargo flight in Eastern Congo in 2017 for organizations connected to the United Nations and the World Food Program. He said the crew’s usual missions involved food, medical supplies, and refugee aid. Unexplained aviation incidents can leave lasting unease, as when a woman was creeped out after a stranger sat next to her on a flight out of Denver.
The pilot said his crew received a direct call from a company director, which he described as something that never normally happens, since pilots usually only deal with dispatchers. The crew was told to reroute to a location in northeastern Congo to pick up a passenger.
Grimm said the pilot described the passenger as having an older American accent and looking like a “tired government bureaucrat pretending to be invisible” rather than someone with a military background. The passenger reportedly handed the pilot a phone, and a company director on the line gave coordinates directly, with no filed route or paperwork.
The crew then flew for hours toward the border with Cameroon, landing at a dirt airstrip the pilot said did not appear on any map or GPS system, according to the account. Waiting there, he said, was what looked like a hidden military command post under the jungle canopy. This unusual flight situation highlights the pressures aviation workers face, such as when a flight attendant shared on TikTok the day that broke her spirit after being screamed at by passengers.
The pilot described a black container about eight meters long, connected to six oxygen tanks. He said Congolese soldiers and men in unmarked American camouflage loaded it onto the aircraft without speaking. “The side of the container had claw marks about 2 feet wide carved into the metal, like something inside had tried to tear its way out at some point,” the pilot said, according to Grimm History.
The pilot said the aircraft smelled strongly of metal, similar to blood mixed with chemicals, after the container was loaded. He said the flight’s final stop was a NASA tracking station in Zanzibar, where an American military C-130 aircraft was waiting with its cargo door open to receive the container, with no signatures or manifest recorded.
The pilot said he and the crew were paid enough afterward to pay off their mortgages and buy vacation homes, and were told to stay silent. He said their flight log later disappeared from the system entirely, as though the flight had never taken place.
In a follow-up message described in the video, the pilot said his crew had spent the past six months transporting parts for large six-megawatt energy storage batteries, each roughly the size of a 40-foot shipping container when assembled. He said these shipments went to locations including New Zealand, Hawaii, and parts of Colorado, arranged through a private contractor linked to the Defense Department.
According to the pilot, each shipment was unloaded by military personnel and moved by unmarked trucks with a small escort. He said these deliveries went to areas where billionaires have reportedly built bunkers, despite those areas already having power grids. When he asked what the shipments were for, he said a handler in Denver told him it was “for the event,” and that it was “not for the public.”
Grimm History said in the video that none of the claims could be verified. “There’s no way to validate any of this, but this is what was sent to me,” he said.
Several commenters treated the story lightly. One person wrote, “So Jurassic Park,” and another replied, “I came here to say this.” Another commenter said, “This would make me excited that it’s not something far worse. This is probs the best case scenario.”
Other viewers questioned specific details in the account. One commenter wrote, “No NASA station in Zanzibar.” NASA did operate a satellite tracking station in Zanzibar as part of Project Mercury, but it was shut down and dismantled in April 1964 at the request of Zanzibar’s revolutionary government, according to reporting by The New York Times at the time.
