Ex-Dunkin’ worker says her paycheck was withheld. Then she airs alleged dirty laundry about drinks, creamers, and more: ‘When you’re not looking’

She allegedly was treated differently after getting a new job

TikTok creator Ak Roulette, who lives in Atlanta, said she went to her old Dunkin’ Donuts to pick up a paycheck she claims a manager was holding back. In a recent video, she said the manager was upset because she was “bettering” herself.

Inside the shop, in a red bonnet and black T-shirt, she spoke to a worker she called Shelby and asked why her calls were not answered. She said she had also called someone named Rihanna, who did not pick up. An off-screen voice she treated as Shelby said, “We do not hold your paycheck,” and referred to the last two weeks.

Ak Roulette said she had texted the day before and was now being treated differently because she got a new job. She told customers not to eat there and said she used to work at the store. She asked if she was supposed to stay at $11 an hour, argued that staff would not give a two-week notice before firing someone, told a man who argued back to stop yelling in her face, and said the store was “about to get a lawsuit.”

Follow-up video details drink, bakery, and creamer claims

In a later clip replying to one of the commenters, Roulette said that after she calmed down, she could explain what she meant about drinks mixed in the back. The on-screen text read “Dunkin’ Donuts WHAT THEY’RE DOING WHEN YOU’RE NOT LOOKING.” Pay disputes over late or missing checks are not uncommon, such as when a McDonald’s worker put in 82 hours before opening her first paycheck, now she’s laughing through my pain.

She claimed that if a customer did not want an iced coffee or if she messed up an order, the cup was not dumped. She said it sat for hours until someone ordered something similar. Staff would then take some of the old drink out, add new ice, mix it, and serve it, she said.

She also pointed to a bakery worker she said had yelled at her in the first video. She claimed she once bit into a bagel with cream cheese that was “hard as f–k,” tried to throw it away, and was given a fresh bagel. “Y’all not getting them fresh bagels,” she said.

She claimed she got in trouble after a customer returned a French cooler donut and called it hard. She said a manager told her, “You have to convince them to take it.” She also claimed side creamers were spoiled, that she told a drive-through customer the store was out, and that a manager then handed those creamers over anyway. She ended with, “Sometimes rejection is protection.”

Under the videos, commenter Aaliyah Bailey wrote that withholding a paycheck was a “barbarian move” and said it had happened to her twice this year. A commenter named cc wrote, “Sue them folks. Get a bigger check,.” Another person wrote, “Call the cops.”

The U.S. Department of Labor says federal law does not require employers to give a former worker a final paycheck right away, though some states do. It says that if the regular payday for the last pay period has passed and the worker has not been paid, the person can contact the Wage and Hour Division or the state labor department.

Shyft, a workforce site, says Georgia does not set its own deadline for a final paycheck and instead follows the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, so an employer may wait until the next regular pay period unless a handbook or contract sets a sooner date.

Shyft also says Georgia does not require unused vacation or paid time off to be paid out unless company policy says so. The videos do not name the Dunkin’ location, and the clips do not include a response from Dunkin’. Dunkin’s troubles go beyond pay disputes, as a trans man who called for a job interview says the manager showed up expecting a girl.
