‘Girl you’re a hero’: Husband texts other women at dinner table — wins stupid prize after daughter stumbles upon the receipts in the oddest way

A man was at dinner with his wife while texting another person he was seemingly having an affair with. Little did he know, a TikTok user sitting behind him not only caught on to what he was doing but also recorded his duplicitous liaisons and posted it on the app.

TikTok lets the most random things go viral, so of course the video went on to garner 19M views. In the comment section, people kept asking the person who posted the video whether she went on to confront the man. She didn’t. There’s a million ways that could have gone wrong — you can’t just approach a stranger and inform them that their spouse has been cheating.

But the man was probably left wishing that TikTok remained banned because that alone was not enough to save him. Eventually, his daughter ran into the video and recognized her father. According to the user who posted the original viral clip that now has countless reactions and almost 18,000 comments — the daughter went on to send the video to her mother.

She explained that her parents have been married for 17 years and her mother only speaks Spanish. In a posted screenshot, the user was told that it was a great decision that she didn’t approach the couple. Not only would there be a language barrier but there was also a chance that her mother would only believe what her dad says because there’s history of that in their family. Taking recordings of people without their consent is already risky enough — approaching them with it just makes things more risky because you can never truly know their temperament.

But the daughter told the original poster that her dad eventually got caught. Whatever that means for him and their 17-year marriage will probably be an internal family issue. In the comment section of the post, people were very sympathetic towards the woman. One user told the original poster, “Girl you’re a hero.” Another person with the username laquechii had one of the most liked comments saying, “She is not a clown for trusting her husband, he is the one who should feel shame. As Gisele Pelicot said: Shame must change sides!” The situation couldn’t have been described any better.

TikTok is chock-full of small clips that end up going viral and eventually completely change people’s lives forever. Recently there was a young woman who posted a ‘day in the life’ post. The only issue with her post is that she works at a MAC cosmetics store at the LAX Airport and her TikTok ended up exposing some security details that would make the store — and perhaps even the airport — a bit less safe. She was promptly fired. And that’s just the nature of TikTok. It’s really impactful.

As far as the couple goes, there’s an added level of disrespect by the man when he chose to text whoever he was having an affair with in the presence of his wife. That’s why he was probably eviscerated in the comments because nobody wants to be on the other side of whatever he was doing. And now he randomly just had his own Coldplay concert moment.
