‘How is she not in trouble for trespassing?’: Angry Karen has magnificent meltdown as she tries and fails to climb a fence

There’s nothing quite like a classic Karen meltdown. Encountering one out in the wild can be an infuriating experience but spare a thought for the people who have to live next to them.

That is exactly what one woman who goes by the name “samantha_kisses_cats” on TikTok is currently dealing with as she has been documenting the numerous disputes and arguments she’s had with her next door neighbor who is a grade-A Karen. Samantha’s neighbor apparently has multiple issues with her including an issue with the drains and an issue with a fence put up by Samantha. 

In one particularly funny but bizarre video we see the neighbor embarrass themselves as they try to clamber over Samanth’s flimsy fence while she silently records the whole altercation.

Nightmare neighbors are nothing new on TikTok but Karen neighbors are the worst. It seems like sometimes, when people just regress back into toddlers, because that is exactly how this elderly lady is behaving.

You can always tell who the Karen is in any given situation because they’ll be the adult throwing a tantrum like a five-year-old. Watching her attempt and fail (numerous times) to climb over Samantha’s little fence is truly the perfect demonstration of entitlement and lack of shame you’d expect.

Many who saw the video asked for more context as it wasn’t exactly clear what the issue even was. Some asked if she was “mad because you got a pool?” Another asked, “So I’m just kinda curious, what’s the back story with the Karen?”

Samantha was happy to provide a little more of an explanation for curious viewers. According to her the main reason her neighbor and her were bickering was due to clogged drains. In another video posted to her account she shows the flooding that occurs during a storm. While her neighbors property is soaked in water, hers is relatively dry. Samantha claims it’s all because she’s made the effort to unclog her drains whereas the neighbors have not.

In her video we see the neighbor being incredibly petty as they gather water in buckets from their front yard and throw it at Samantha’s back door. Apparently they’re just mad because her drains are working correctly and theirs are not.

In another video Samantha records her neighbor as she picks up the fence she’s set up and moves it claiming that “this is in my lawn,” before making a snide remark about setting boundaries.

It seems all of this could have been solved so much sooner had this Karen tried to talk it out, but then again, she doesn’t seem like the most reasonable person so maybe that was always a long shot.
