The premise behind the chart test is simple: social media users must answer a series of questions to determine the particular personality category the individual falls under.

How to take the chart test and share the results on TikTok

According to Hitc, individuals can take the Jock, Nerd, Prep, Goth chart test by going on IDRLabs‘ website. The participant will be asked 22 questions and answer with either a “thumbs up, a thumbs down, or a neutral response.”

The overall responses on the test will determine the individual’s personality category, a Jock, Nerd, Prep, or Goth, and they will receive a lengthy explanation as to why they got this result. Those names or phrases are often associated with high school and college groups.

As far as sharing the results on TikTok, Dexerto reports that an individual can take a screenshot of it and click the “upload feature” upon entering the social media platform. Although it is unclear when the trend started to go viral, since its debut, the “Jock, Nerd, Prep, and Goth” chart test has received thousands of views among various TikTok users.

One TikTok user named @highshelfcltv opened up about his experience. While showing off the Goth results that he received on the test and encouraging his followers that got a similar answer to “come hang out,” that social media user said,

“Hey TikTok, I don’t know what’s going on but this test has taken over the agency discord and it’s like everybody is this (Goth). If this is you and you’re like in that camp, come hang out, we’re all right.”

No additional details regarding this trend have been released.
