Mother cracks up at daughter’s response to question about cheating boyfriends. Then the son jumps in: ‘Good luck on his journey’

“Baby brother gave his blessings real quick!”

A post on TikTok, uploaded by TikToker Lunawhoo, just pulled in 4.8 million views. It starts off as a casual walk down the street, involving a mom and her two children, Luna and Tristan. As they skip along to keep up with their mom, she poses a hypothetical question to Luna, which is where the video really takes off, and explains the mysterious video caption, “Baby brother gave his blessings real quick! lol.”

“Luna, what would you do if one day your boyfriend cheated on you?” Luna does not hesitate for a second, initially responding, “I would kick him in the balls.” She quickly pivots, however, adding, “but actually, never mind. He probably doesn’t have those because real men don’t cheat.” The mother chuckles and tells her, “That’s a great answer, Luna. Well, what would you do? What would you do instead?”

Before Luna can elaborate, her brother Tristan jumps in with a response that caught everyone off guard, saying, “Um. Good luck on his journey.” The mother immediately bursts out laughing at the unexpected statement while Luna spins to face her brother. She asks him, “How do you know what that means? Tristan? Good luck on his journey.” The mother then turns to her son and asks, “Why? Are you gonna stand up for your sister? Yeah.”

Their answers were really quick

The comment section is flooded with praise for the family dynamic. Kimiko_Jassie wrote, “Big fan of your parenting,” while Ananda simply called it “Elite parenting!” Another user, ❾¾Sofiie ͛, commented, “Raise your hand if you think her parenting is absolutely stunning” me:. The humor was not lost on viewers either, with Aliyah noting, “bro the ” good luck in his journey” was so peak 😅😂.”

According to an article by Children’s Health, helping children understand what healthy relationships look and feel like is one of the most important lessons parents can offer. These lessons start earlier than many realize and help kids navigate everything from friendships to future romantic connections.

The article explains that positive relationships help build social and emotional skills, boost confidence, and support overall well-being. These include teaching kids about respect, trust and honesty, good communication, empathy and kindness, and support.

Teaching kids to identify red flags, per the site,  is just as crucial as teaching them the positive traits. This includes making them aware of jealousy, excessive criticism, disrespect, controlling behaviour, and emotional and physical abuse. Children can also benefit from learning how to recognize healthy and unhealthy behaviors, while developing tools to regulate their emotions. Children’s Health points out that in middle school and high school, they need to be taught about peer pressure, equality in friendship, and important topics like consent.

Other viewers were quick to express their delight at the children’s attitudes. Avonlea commented, “When I heard the answers😆😆,” and chloee added, “this is one of the most cutest videos i’ve seen omg 🥹 , they are so smart!🥹👏 , they are so so cute tooooo 🥹🥹🫶🏼🫶🏼.” Chelsie Dom even jokingly suggested, “Luna for president 🤌🏼 Tristan for vice president 👏🏼.”

The sentiment continued across the platform, with pitraratri_adirianto writing, “woohoo good job both sister and brother…,” and C adding, “We were already full, then little queen kept cooking.” MelHaleLaw kept it brief but enthusiastic by commenting, “Well damn!!”

Videos featuring precocious children often resonate with TikTok viewers. For instance, one sassy British girl went on a rant about the price of ice cream in one post. In another, a toddler refuses to call her parents mom and dad, and insists on using their full names.
