North Carolina woman’s boyfriend goes bowling with friends, so she decides to go to the movies. Then her best friend allegedly warns her to not go

A North Carolina woman says a trip to the movies turned into a confrontation after her best friend allegedly spotted her boyfriend at the theater with another woman. TikTok creator Driaaa.a (@driaaa.a) recounted the incident in a five-part storytime series, saying her boyfriend had told her he planned to go bowling with his friends.

She said she had no reason to question the plan because she knew he enjoyed bowling. Instead, she decided to see a movie with her mother and brother in Greenville, North Carolina.

According to Driaaa.a, she was on her way to the theater when her best friend called and asked where she was going. After learning that Driaaa.a was headed to the movies, her friend reportedly told her not to go.

Then another person joined the call.

The friend then added another person to the call and allegedly revealed that she had seen Driaaa.a’s boyfriend at the theater with another woman wearing blonde braids. Driaaa.a said she immediately became suspicious because she was already heading to the theater.

When she arrived, she said she recognized her boyfriend’s car in the parking lot. She described removing belongings from the vehicle and said she also found flowers inside, which she took with her. The confrontation continued inside the theater.

In her second video, Driaaa.a said her mother helped her get a ticket before she began searching several auditoriums for her boyfriend. She eventually entered a theater showing a Spider-Man movie.

She said the light from the screen allowed her to spot a woman with blonde braids. Driaaa.a said she then recognized a man wearing a black cap as her boyfriend. She approached him, but said the confrontation left her overwhelmed and caused her to forget what she had planned to say.

She confronted the other woman outside the theater.

In a subsequent update (which has since been deleted), Driaaa.a said she later confronted the other woman outside. She emphasized that she initially did not blame the woman because she believed the woman might not have known about their relationship.

She also acknowledged accidentally throwing a drink toward the woman before realizing it was hers. Driaaa.a said she apologized for that mistake.

The situation continued after the theater confrontation. Driaaa.a said she contacted her boyfriend to retrieve belongings from his home and later collected her property.

Then came another twist: She said the couple reconciled.

In her latest update, however, Driaaa.a revealed that the couple reconciled, and her boyfriend had provided additional details about his interactions with the other woman. She said he had originally told her he was going bowling but later acknowledged that the other woman had visited his home.

Driaaa.a said she had previously noticed blonde hairs around the house and initially accepted his explanation that they came from her own blonde braids. She said he eventually admitted the hairs came from the other woman.

Driaaa.a also described a later encounter in which she accompanied her boyfriend to return belongings to the woman. She said tensions escalated after the woman allegedly insulted her, but the two did not actually fight.

Then came her boyfriend’s messages

The biggest revelation came when Driaaa.a addressed messages her boyfriend had posted online. She acknowledged that she had been communicating with one of his acquaintances and admitted she had considered meeting him, although she said she never did.

Driaaa.a said the revelation made her look bad, but argued that her actions did not compare with her boyfriend’s alleged behavior. She accused him of communicating with numerous women and said he had brought another woman into the home where she regularly stayed.

Despite admitting that she “slipped up,” Driaaa.a maintained that she had not been physically unfaithful. She said both sides could look bad, but insisted her feelings about discovering her boyfriend’s alleged infidelity remained valid.

She ended the update by saying she accepted responsibility for her own actions while arguing that her boyfriend’s behavior was worse. The series ultimately left Driaaa.a acknowledging that neither she nor her boyfriend looked particularly good in the aftermath. She told viewers they did not have to take her side. She believed her reaction came from feeling hurt after discovering that her suspicions about her boyfriend had not been entirely unfounded.
