‘That boy wants a mommy not a partner’: TikTok puts woman’s husband on blast after his bizarre tantrum over laundry

The very definition of being a man-child.

A viral video on TikTok has sparked a discussion between people on the app after it showed a man having a childish tantrum due to his wife failing to do the laundry right resulting in his favorite shirt ending up in the dryer pile.

It may sound like a ridiculous thing for people to be debating but clearly people in this corner of TikTok are very bored. The video in question shows a man stomping around a bedroom like a petulant child while repeatedly saying in a sing-song voice, “no people doing my laundry right.”

The video has since been removed, but unfortunately for the couple, once something’s out there online, it’s there for good. People quickly reposted the embarrassing clip with their own reactions to it and they were far from kind. It’s easy to see why people would have such a negative reaction as the bizarre display comes off as passive aggressive and childish, especially without context.

One TikToker replicated the viral clip in a mocking manner while chanting, “If you’re not gonna leave the man, then don’t involve us.”

As you may have guessed from the clip, many who saw the original clip called out the seemingly toxic behavior and suggested leaving the man, after all, it’s not a woman’s job to do their partner’s laundry, he could have done it himself.

Another TikToker claimed she had a “visceral” reaction to seeing the man stomping around the room.

Is it as toxic as we assumed?

Faced with the unexpected backlash the wife initially turned off the comments before eventually deleting the whole video. This isn’t the first time someone has shared their husband’s behavior on TikTok only for viewers to drag the husband for being toxic. While the viewers may have a point, in many cases the wife doesn’t see it from their point of view and vice versa, the viewers don’t truly understand the ins-and-outs of their relationship.

Without context the man’s behavior seems childish and toxic but as viewers we’ll never get that full context. This could be an inside joke between the couple but all we see is what looks like a full-grown man throwing a tantrum.  Some have blamed the wife for not having the foresight to predict the response the video would get and one TikToker added that this is why it’s best not to share intimate moments like this online.

Regardless, it’s out there now and the internet has given its brutal verdict on the situation despite it apparently being a non-issue for the wife.
