‘That looks 2 days old’: Customer forces Little Caesars to admit what’s really in their so-called pretzel pizza

Little Caesars' big secret is out.

Since the dawn of time questions have plagued mankind. Questions like, what is the meaning of life, is there a creator, and most importantly, what is in a Little Caesars pretzel pizza. The truth may very well shake you to your core.

Turns out the pretzel crust is nothing special. Sorry to burst your bubble if you’re a pretzel crust enjoyer, but thanks to TikTok account @hey_k_47 we now have confirmation from a Little Caesars manager that the “pretzel” pizza is not actually made with pretzels at all.

For reference, the poster shares a video of what their pizza looks like as they claim it’s just a salty cheese pizza. According to them, the manager informed them that that is pretty much exactly what the pretzel pizza is. “The manager told me that all they do is add baking soda to the crust to give it color and then put salt on it.”

Hey @Little Caesars you guys should stop advertising it as Pretzel Crust. The manager told me they don’t have actual pretzel crust and can’t refund me because I “got what I ordered” #falseadvertising

Pretty sure there’s more to being a pretzel outside of salt and bread. I’d be pretty upset if this is what I got too. Some may disagree of course, but they would be wrong, it’s about texture and looks just as much as it is about the taste. Anyways, Little Caesars hasn’t seen this much drama since it unveiled the corn cob pizza back in ’23.

Is this false advertising from Little Caesars?

The irate customer did tag the official account for Little Caesars in the description and they also gave a little more context to the situation. Apparently they weren’t allowed a refund because they got what they ordered. I don’t know though, it seems like they ordered a pretzel crust and all they got was a salty pizza.

Little Caesars has yet to address this disturbing revelation but it can surely only be a matter of time before they do. In the comments the word “disappointment” was thrown around by a few people. Meanwhile others actually jumped to the defense of Little Caesars, one person wrote, “years ago when I was at my lowest n had less than $50 in the account some weeks, Little Caesar’s was the only affordable comfort food. Can’t tolerate Little Caesar’s hate for that.” Got to respect the loyalty, even if it may be misplaced.

Other comments claimed that this was a problem specific to the original poster’s local branch. One individual wrote, “ya that’s not the pretzel crust lol. pretzel has cheese sauce, and they didn’t do the crust right it should be darker tastes like a pretzel.” Others made similar observations.

It seems this issue might not be prevalent across all branches of Little Caesars, which is certainly a relief. While it sucks for the original poster who didn’t get what they paid for at least we can rest easy knowing this is hopefully a one off.
