‘This man just touched me’: Couple’s plan to take cute pictures in photobooth ruined after stranger reaches inside and grabs the woman

When the boyfriend went out to confront the man, there was nobody around but a security guard.

A couple’s photobooth moment was ruined by an opportunistic stranger who allegedly reached inside while they were distracted and assaulted the woman by touching her inappropriately. The shocking moment was partially caught on video and subsequently posted to TikTok by the woman.

The clip, posted by TikToker, “@heyellajaye,” (AKA Ella) went viral on the app, receiving 23 million views. The caption reads, “When ur in the Photo Booth but the saxophones get louder,” and the video uses the viral saxophone sound which has frequently been used on TikTok to indicate that something is wrong or dangerous.

In the video, Ella and her boyfriend are seen sitting in front of the camera in the photo booth. For a brief moment, the couple looks ready to have their photo taken, but right before the camera begins taking pictures, something interrupts them.

Ella seems concerned as she looks to her right, calling out an unsure “Hello?” The dialogue between her and her boyfriend is inaudible, but straight afterward, the boyfriend exits the photo booth, leaving Ella to pose for the remaining photos by herself.

TikTok demands context

It’s not entirely clear what happened in the video, which left some commenters to speculate that we were being shown a couple’s argument. “The photos make it look like yall broke up mid shot,” one person wrote. “[I] thought he left her in the booth bc he was mad it didnt work or sum,” claimed another.

However, that was far from the case, as Ella would soon return with a storytime video in which she claimed that there had actually been an unwelcome and unseen third person.

According to her, a man standing outside of the photo booth had reached inside and touched her breast just before the photo had been taken. Ella claimed she told her boyfriend, “this man just touched me,” prompting her partner to charge outside and chase down the person who allegedly did it.

“He gets out of the photo booth, looks around, doesn’t see a single person,” Ella claimed. However, he did apparently see a security guard whom he told what happened. After a lengthy conversation with the security guard’s supervisor, Ella admitted that nothing ever came of it as there were no cameras nearby to catch the suspect in the act. “Plot twist it was the security guard,” speculated one commenter.

Those who watched Ella’s storytime returned to the original video to commend her boyfriend: “u got a good man girl,” reads one comment. Others were able to screenshot and digitally enhance the brief moment before the incident, when Ella and her boyfriend were posing, in order to give them at least one nice photo together.
