After many questions from her 4.3 million dollars, former Vine star and TikToker, Tasia Alexis just spilled the beans on her short stint in prison. In a video that already has over 2.4 million views, she opened up about her time at Lee Arrendale State Prison in Alto, Georgia, a facility she described as a maximum security women’s prison at the time. Her colorful TikTok details a gritty, difficult environment where basic hygiene and personal safety were constant struggles.
Tasia explained that her legal troubles stemmed from drug charges and an incident involving fleeing and eluding police. Per Daily Dot, when she was taken to Lee Arrendale, she first thought it was only for the diagnostics center, a place where they complete all required blood and diagnostic tests as part of the intake procedure. Then she realized she was there to stay, albeit in the minimum security section.
Tasia explained that the inmates of Lee Arrendale had their store privileges revoked because they did not know how to act. Without being able to buy her own essentials, she was left with whatever poor-quality products the prison could assign. The living conditions were horrendous, too. Hot meals were a dream, and getting bedding depended on luck, and worst of all, everything stank to high heaven.
Evidently, there was a strict code of conduct enforced, too
Tasia said that he hair really suffered, since she only had access to harsh lice shampoo, and no conditioner. She also recalled being given a bar of soap, which she referred to as a Bob Barker bar, that she claimed would not lather or clean effectively. To make matters worse, the deodorant provided was a roll-on that somehow made her smell worse. She described the experience as a big stinky time.
Tasia witnessed other inmates forced to sleep on bare metal bunks because the facility had run out of mattresses, and other inmates had potentially stolen their bedding. She felt fortunate to have a thin mat of her own, though she noted that many blankets provided to inmates were full of holes and carried a foul odor.
Maintaining a presentable appearance was not just about personal care, but about avoiding conflict with authority. She described the intense pressure during headcounts, where the warden would command attention on deck. She had to learn to tie her hair into a tight bun incredibly quickly to avoid the threat of having it cut off.
She also faced persistent teasing from guards who found amusement in her last name, Hussey. Thankfully, even though Tasia was sentenced to a two-year sentence, she was released after eight months.

Her time in prison was marked by a need to stay strong and avoid significant trouble. She had a very clear goal, “I am never doing this again.” So, she only ever had two arguments during her stay.
As her release date approached, she was moved to the block, which she identified as lockdown. This was a place for inmates serving long sentences, including life terms. Even in those final 24 hours, thanks to the stress, she almost got into a fight with an inmate over toilet paper. After a sharp exchange, the other inmate eventually acknowledged that Tasia Alexis was lucky to be leaving the next day.

Reflecting on the experience, she emphasized that the environment brings out the worst in people. As she wryly put it, “Only the strong survive.”Interestingly, she isn’t the first TikToker to share their experience in prison recently. Cat burglar Jennifer Gomez shared her story of how she got caught. However, while these two women had their brush with ruin, they bounced back. That won’t always be open to changing their life, even if their mischief ended with harsher results.
