Would you keep it a secret for $10k?

A woman’s TikTok series has drawn attention after she alleged that her husband and sister were involved in an affair and claimed her mother later contacted her with an offer to keep the situation private. In one video, Sophie said she was trying to continue working while dealing with what she described as a family crisis. She then shared what she said was a recording of a phone call from her mother. According to Sophie’s video, her mother allegedly urged her to keep the situation private, citing concerns that public attention could affect the family.

In the recording shared by Sophie, the woman identified as her mother said, “I know you’re probably not ready to talk to me, and I really don’t blame you, but I need you to hear me out.” The caller allegedly continued, saying she did not know Sophie’s sister and husband were “seeing each other behind your back” and claimed she would have tried to stop it if she had known.

Then came the hush money offer

The woman in the recording then allegedly asked Sophie not to post about the situation publicly. “Please. So don’t post anything. Don’t tell anyone yet,” the caller said, according to the audio shared by Sophie.

The caller allegedly referenced Sophie’s father’s political ambitions and said public attention could affect his plans. “Your father is only a few weeks away from being the mayor, and if this gets out right now, it’ll destroy everything that he’s worked for,” the recording said.

The caller also allegedly offered financial compensation if Sophie and her sister kept the matter within the family. “Your dad and I will give each of you $10,000,” the caller said in the recording shared by Sophie.

Sophie responded in the video by questioning whether she should agree to keep the alleged situation private. “My family is a wreck, and they want me to co-sign all of this?” she said.

In another video from the series, Sophie shared what she described as the moment she learned about the alleged affair. She said she received a call at work from someone who claimed to have seen a woman with her husband at their home.

During the conversation, the caller allegedly told Sophie that her husband was not alone. She said the woman appeared to match her sister’s description.

“She had dark hair, your height,” the caller said in the recording shared by Sophie. When Sophie questioned whether the woman could actually be her sister, the caller allegedly said she was certain. “Sophie, it’s your sister,” the caller said.

The caller also claimed she saw the woman wearing the husband’s shirt, prompting Sophie to ask for photos. “Take a picture right now. Send it to me,” Sophie said in the recording.

The videos have sparked discussion among viewers, with some commenters encouraging Sophie to continue sharing her side of the story. One commenter wrote, “Keep posting it, girl!”
